Our Team provides managed services and proactive and reactive support to our global customers. We utilize tools, process and knowledge to integrate and maintain Akamai security solutions for our clients. We collaborate to solve problems, innovate to provide creative solutions and continuously improve for our customers.

Partner with the best

You'll be the primary security services contact ensuring successfulintegration and consultancy over the whole customer life cycle on our platform. Acting as a trusted expert, you'll learn and implement creative solutions helping customers leverage Akamai's security products and achieve desired outcomes.

As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring customer success by understanding requirements and helping them build a long-term strategy based on best practices
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate customer architecture, address technical challenges and maximize benefits from using Akamai solutions
  • Participating in training and projects contributing to best practices, maximizing efficiency, and improving methodology and service quality
  • Demonstrating Akamai's value, ensuring customer engagement and communicating effectively with both technical and business audiences

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a working knowledge of security technology process and concepts, security event management, security compliance.
  • Have knowledge of computer networks concepts and protocols (HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP, DNS, BGP etc.).
  • Exhibit understanding of DevOps or SecOps principles and implementation concepts related to web development, IT systems, or security practices.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and an ability to build trust relationships with customers
  • Have experience in a customer-facing role within the Information Technology industry
