The PositionArkatechture is looking for an experienced and talented Account Executive who can help financial service institutions realize their data-driven strategic goals. We expect the Account Executive to establish new business relationships with enterprise customers, driving sales of our SaaS platform. This requires owning end to end sales cycles, driving deals to close. As an Account Executive at Arkatechture, you will be focusing on establishing new business accounts, and you will have an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact on the success of our business. As a natural people-person, we’d expect you to be a fast learner who is quick to build trust and relationships with customers. As an Account Executive, you will need excellent communication skills (written and oral), as well as the ability to manage multiple sales cycles, various stakeholders and complex projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market share within your defined territory. You will own a quota!
  • Develop trust and relationships with prospective clients and business leaders (community banks and credit unions)
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around Arkatechture’s MSP offering, Arkalytics
  • Work with established partners to extend our reach into your defined territory
  • Manage and track customer and transactional information in a CRM system.
  • Track market competition and maintain industry thought leadership
  • Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers and support staff
  • Practice effective time-management skills and leadership; you must be able to keep meetings, clients and other stakeholders on-task and productive
  • Travel to customer locations and events in support of sales efforts (up to 20 - 30%).

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Minimum Qualifications
  • 7+ years of technology related sales or business development experience
  • 5+ years of direct field experience selling software and business intelligence services
  • Experience in identifying and selling technologies in new key customers and expanding existing market segments
  • Highly organized multi-tasker who is self-driven
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong self-organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Consistent record of surpassing personal and organizational goals
  • Comfortable executing a wide range of responsibilities
  • Proven track record of leadership and teamwork
  • Proficient with GSuite and Hubspot (or similar CRM)
  • Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in selling into the financial service industry, specifically community banks and credit unions
  • Experience in selling business analytics software and/or data warehouse and data lake services
  • Work experience in a start-up or a small, fast-paced environment
  • Sales process documentation and implementation
  • Experience in building out a successful and sustainable sales organization
