Job Summary

As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you'll play a vital role in delivering a positive customer experience, providing expert advice on print, signs & graphics, and shipping services, and ensuring that all customer interactions are handled with professionalism and care. You'll work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure that all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver exceptional customer service, providing expert advice on print, signs & graphics, and shipping services

  • Utilize consultative skills to understand customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions
  • Process customer transactions, including taking orders, handling payments, and providing accurate pricing information
  • Operate and maintain a wide range of equipment, including printing, binding, and shipping equipment
  • Stock materials, manage the production queue, and output, and complete assigned tasks based on priority
  • Provide training to new team members and assist in the development of the retail store team
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment
  • Ensure confidentiality of customer data and handle documents, media, and packages with care
  • Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), including handling cash and making change
  • Clean, repair, and stock all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to provide optimal performance and availability
  • Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of all retail area product and signage
  • Take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste
  • Complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent education

  • 6+ months of specialized experience in retail customer service or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
  • Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
  • Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees on a consistent basis
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and other team members
  • Ability to perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
  • Ability to maintain attention and concentration for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to report regularly to work and maintain established business hours in order to support the arenaflex business

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a retail environment, particularly in print, signs & graphics, and shipping services

  • Knowledge of print, signs & graphics, and shipping products and services
  • Ability to operate a variety of equipment, including printing, binding, and shipping equipment
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and financial transactions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide training to new team members
