Laurel Valley Soils is a reputable company known for high-quality soil products and exceptional customer service. They are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow new business and build strong relationships with contractors and commercial customers across SE Pennsylvania, Delaware, MD, and New Jersey.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business throughout your territory
  • Build relationships with contractors, landscapers, and commercial decision-makers
  • Visit prospects and customers in the field to identify opportunities
  • Manage your sales pipeline and CRM (Hubspot) and follow up consistently
  • Close new business and grow long-term accounts

Skills

  • 1–5 years of outside sales, B2B sales, or strong customer-facing sales experience
  • Confidence with cold outreach, relationship-building, and closing
  • Strong communication skills, and most importantly the ability to truly listen and hear your prospects' needs, wants, and points of pain
  • Strong organizational skills, accountability, and positivity
  • The ability to work independently, the desire and willingness to receive coaching, and the openness to learn new skills and processes
  • Experience in landscape, construction, building materials, or related industries
