Job description:
- These Tutors are working with students in the classroom as the teacher presents the lessons.
- Provide academic support for selected students
- Provide individual and/or small group instruction
- Provide documentation of student progress
- Work with teacher(s) to determine appropriate interventions
- Maintain required documentation of services provided up to 19 hours per week
- Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance
- Supports the Lamar County School District Mission Statement
- Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor
- Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Passing scores on "Work Keys" test or completion of 48 college credits
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Other Requirements: Required references and background check
