They work hands-on doing testing. They have a strong background in testing of all types with an emphasis on Integration testing and debugging. They can create a Test Strategy. They understand how to create a test plan and value test case review. They value metrics as a means to drive quality. They understand release processes and how they impact testing. Skills needed
- Strong QA leadership background with clear hands-on experience in the actual testing of complex applications preferably with cross-team development and data flow. This person should know and understand testing best practices and be able to apply them.
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills to support root cause analysis of bugs and drive remediation and prioritization of issues.
- Highly experienced QA with expertise in creating test strategies, test planning, test process and using Quality metrics to support their work.
- Goal oriented individual with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent influencing, documenting and presentation skills.
- No applications for QAs focused only on automation
