Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our Information Security team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise in cybersecurity from anywhere. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and disseminating threat intelligence to proactively defend our organization against evolving cyber threats. This role involves monitoring threat landscapes, identifying emerging attack vectors, assessing the impact of threats, and developing actionable intelligence to inform security strategies and incident response. You will work with a global team of security professionals to enhance our overall security posture. Key Responsibilities: Proactively collect, analyze, and interpret threat intelligence data from various sources, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), commercial feeds, and dark web monitoring. Identify and track threat actors, their motivations, capabilities, and TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures). Develop and maintain threat models and profiles relevant to our organization's industry and assets. Produce timely and actionable threat intelligence reports for technical and executive audiences. Provide strategic recommendations to enhance security controls, detection capabilities, and incident response efforts. Collaborate with incident response teams to provide contextual information and support during security investigations. Develop and manage relationships with external threat intelligence providers and information-sharing communities. Automate intelligence gathering and analysis processes using scripting and relevant tools. Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and defensive techniques. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the development of the threat intelligence program. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a significant focus on threat intelligence analysis. Demonstrated experience with various threat intelligence platforms and tools. Strong understanding of cyber attack methodologies, malware analysis, and network security principles. Proficiency in data analysis, scripting (e.g., Python), and database querying. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Experience working effectively in a remote, collaborative team environment. Relevant certifications such as GCTI, CTI, CISSP, or GIAC are a plus.
