The AWS AGS team is committed to helping industry customers enable their digital transformation journeys. Our team focuses on business outcomes and industry use cases on behalf of our customers, whether that is how we build products and solutions, how we sell, how we deliver, or how we partner.The Principal Account Manager will be responsible for providing business leadership and management of a select number of accounts. You will build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects and engage resources. You will define a CXO relationship strategy within the accounts, including engaging with AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorships, coordinating executive business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction.Key job responsibilitiesThe Principal Account Manager (AM) is responsible for teaming with the customer’s IT Organization to build strategic relationships across the account, articulating a clear vision and generating enthusiasm, while impacting all business groups. The AM is responsible for selling at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. The AM will work with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams and Professional Services) to support customer interests.About The TeamAWS Manufacturing & Logistics Team are responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing enterprise-level customers in the sector. Sector includes a mix of process and discrete manufacturers.Basic Qualifications

  • Experience as a quota-carrying technology field sales professional with a proven track record of success selling complex cloud solutions to large enterprises within Financial Services
  • Experience in a client facing consultative role working with large, complex enterprise customers
  • Experience delivering results and generating transformational growth
  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals
  • Experience selling cloud solutions at a software company or equivalent
  • Experience delivering technology products or services in a high growth environment
  • Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers
  • Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects for global customers
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of cloud computing technologies
  • Experience in technology-related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting
  • Bachelor's degree, or Bachelor of Arts degree
  • Background in enterprise digital transformation strategies
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services
  • Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting
