Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Entry-Level Remote Data Entry Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative support team, you'll be responsible for entering applications submitted for Healthcare Admin Jobs, maintaining denied applications, filing, opening and distributing mail, and performing routine clerical duties. Essential Functions

As a Remote Data Entry Coordinator, you'll perform the following essential functions:

  • Data Entry and Record-Keeping: Utilize standard office procedures and equipment to enter information into applicable databases and/or other computerized systems, collect and maintain records and information in assigned areas of responsibilities.
  • Clerical Support: Perform routine clerical duties, including making photocopies, performing data entry, faxing documents, typing/word processing, screening incoming calls, taking and transmitting messages, and meeting and greeting the general public.
  • Customer Service: Respond to requests for information from the general public, answer routine questions, and direct callers to appropriate internal departments and/or external organizations.
  • Filing and Correspondence: File documents alphabetically, numerically, or by other prescribed methods, receive, sort, file, and/or distribute a variety of correspondence.
  • Front Desk Support: May assist as a back-up for the Front Desk Clerk, performing duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with six (6) months related office support experience.
  • Alternatively, at least one (1) year of equivalent education, training/experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job will be considered.

Knowledge and Skills

As a Remote Data Entry Coordinator, you'll need to possess the following knowledge and skills:

  • Customer Service Principles: Knowledge of customer service principles, including excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Modern Office Procedures: Familiarity with modern office procedures, methods, equipment, and filing procedures.
  • Computer Software Applications: Skilled in computer software applications, including MS applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, etc.).
  • Record-Keeping: Ability to maintain accurate records and files.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, general public, etc.

  • Reaching, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
