Overview of the Role

As a Cargo Agent, you'll play a vital part in our mission to provide seamless cargo transportation services. You'll be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. This is an entry-level customer service agent position, and our leaders will provide mentorship to help you grow and advance your career.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

• Handle customer interactions face-to-face and over the phone, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service.
• Process and manage cargo shipments, including receiving and processing cargo documents, handling cargo claims, and resolving issues related to cargo transportation.
• Collaborate with other teams, including operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring that our cargo operations are compliant with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and to stay up-to-date with industry developments.

What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Consistently prioritize the safety and security of yourself, others, and personal data

• Possess a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
• Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States
• Have a valid driver's license
• Possess basic digital literacy
• Ability to frequently lift tools, supplies, or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds
• Pass a physical ability test (PAT). You can prepare for the PAT by watching this video.
• Must wear required company-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include, but not limited to: hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, protective headwear (bump cap or hard hat), and high visibility safety apparel subject to an approved accommodation, such as alternate PPE.

Compensation and Perks

The starting pay for Cargo Agents in Los Angeles, CA is $24.73 per hour. Additional pay increases occur regularly through 10.5 years. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, comprehensive health benefits, and family care assistance.
