Qualifications & Skills:
- Current RN license, eligible for practice in Illinois
- Telemetry experience required
- Strong proficiency in cardiac monitoring; comfortable managing patient ratios of 1-5 or 1-6, and occasionally 1-7
- Flexibility to float to medical/surgical, telemetry, and ortho units as needed
- Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and time management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and compassionate nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
- Adapt quickly to different units, following their specific workflows and policies
