Remote Bookkeeper (Part-time to Full-time)

Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced and personable Bookkeeper to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing books for a large number of clients, manage a team of junior bookkeepers, and be comfortable with a primarily client-facing role. This is not a typical bookkeeping role! Please read the Key Responsibilities below before applying. You as the Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for the work of your junior bookkeepers. Past experience leading and coaching is a plus! You will review and audit all of the books on a regular basis as well as before finals are sent once all documents are received for the month. Your team of junior bookkeepers will be doing 90-95% of all the back end tasks for the clients books. Ensuring the financials are accurate for reports, and ensuring our clients receive exceptional 5-Star service. The Senior Bookkeeper will also have to work closely with their team to answer their questions and help with payroll breakouts or reconciliation issues. Regular zoom meetings and google chat is the way we communicate. Communication is key! Whether it’s with your team or the clients we have many processes in place to connect with our clients. This is not a position where you just sit behind a computer in QuickBooks or respond to emails. Payroll experience is a plus! This is not a management position, but what you bring to the table is your expertise in bookkeeping. Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and auditing the work of 2-3 Junior Bookkeepers.
- Manage bookkeeping tasks and work for up to a potential of 90-100 clients.
- Final Reviews of clients books.
- All client communications and relations. You communicate directly with all clients on a regular basis to address questions and concerns.
- Onboard new clients for monthly or clean up bookkeeping.
- Holding Quarterly reviews with clients to review financials.
Qualifications:
- US Based Bookkeeper
- Excellent communication skills!
- Can work well in a team environment.
- Great Multitasking skills.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, particularly managing multiple client accounts.
- Proficiency in accounting software; QuickBooks Online, Google Docs, MS Software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
