, is looking for a brilliant and innovative Remote AI Research Scientist to push the boundaries of machine learning applications in healthcare. Responsibilities: Conduct research and development in areas such as deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning, with a focus on healthcare applications. Design, implement, and evaluate novel machine learning algorithms and models for tasks like medical image analysis, disease prediction, drug discovery, and clinical decision support. Process and analyze large, complex healthcare datasets, ensuring data quality, privacy, and ethical considerations are met. Collaborate with clinicians, biologists, and domain experts to understand challenges and translate them into solvable AI problems. Develop robust and scalable AI solutions, from proof-of-concept to prototype deployment. Stay current with the latest research trends and advancements in AI, machine learning, and healthcare technology. Publish research findings in top-tier AI conferences and journals. Contribute to the intellectual property portfolio of the company through patents and technical disclosures. Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the team's knowledge sharing and collaborative efforts. Work effectively in a remote environment, utilizing collaboration tools to maintain strong team synergy. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. A minimum of 5 years of research experience in AI/ML, with a significant portion focused on healthcare-related problems. Expertise in one or more areas of machine learning, such as deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers), NLP, or computer vision. Proficiency in Python and major ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Experience working with healthcare data (EHR, medical imaging, genomics) and understanding of relevant privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to conduct independent research. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a remote team setting. Strong publication record in relevant AI/ML conferences and journals. Must be eligible to work in the US.
