Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Technician and Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Your duties will include:
* Answering phones and responding to orders, re-orders, and general customer inquiries
* Handling and resolving client complaints and inquiries in a timely manner
* Triage incoming faxes by facility/department and in accordance with cutoff times
* Clarifying orders as needed
* Performing duties assigned by the Data Entry Manager
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and files
* Collaborating with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Active NJ Board of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technician License
* Previous experience in pharmacy, with LTC pharmacy experience preferred
* Knowledge of brand name and generic medications
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Moderate to advanced computer skills, including proficiency in frameworks and ECM knowledge
* Great telephone etiquette and communication skills
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with pharmacy software and systems
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
* Certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT)
* Bilingual or multilingual skills
