Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced customer service representative to join our remote team, providing support to patients and physicians across the country. As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for responding to inbound service requests, providing accurate information, and ensuring timely follow-through on requests. You will work in a fast-paced, structured environment, with established standards, guidelines, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to inbound service requests from patients and physicians in a professional and courteous manner

  • Provide accurate information and timely follow-through on requests, requiring extensive research and response
  • Maintain composure and patience while speaking with patients and physicians, even in high-pressure situations
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision, to establish priorities and manage objectives
  • Type with speed and accuracy, using Microsoft Office Suite and modern office procedures
  • Utilize advanced phone systems and display professional telephone etiquette
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with patients and physicians, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty

Essential Qualifications

* Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school

  • At least one year of prior customer service experience, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate and convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, to establish priorities and manage objectives
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and modern office procedures
  • Prior experience with various call center solutions a plus

Preferred Qualifications

* Foreign language fluency a plus

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, structured environment, with established standards, guidelines, and procedures
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry a plus

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
