Insurance Subject Matter Expert (remote, US) - Chinese, Arabic, or German Speaker

Work Location: US, remote Engagement Model: Freelancer / Independent Contractor Start Date: ASAP Qualification Requirements: Successful completion of a role-specific written assessment and a background check. We are seeking an experienced Insurance Subject Matter Experts (Insurance) with advanced skills in Chinese, Arabic, or German language to join our multidisciplinary team supporting the development, evaluation, and improvement of AI models used across insurance processes. The ideal candidate will bridge domain expertise and data-driven insights to ensure our AI systems are accurate, compliant, and aligned with industry standards and business objectives. Tasks Collaborate with AI, data science, and product teams to evaluate AI models used in underwriting, claims processing, risk assessment, and pricing. Identify gaps, biases, and limitations in existing models and contribute domain insights for improvement. Validate AI outputs against real-world insurance practices, regulatory requirements, and customer experience standards. Define key metrics and success criteria to measure model performance and business relevance. Support data labeling and annotation by providing insurance-specific context and expertise. Assist in designing explainable AI frameworks to enhance model transparency and trustworthiness. Stay current with insurance regulations, compliance standards, and emerging AI applications in the sector.

Requirements

Advanced skills in Chinese, Arabic, or German language. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Business, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in the insurance industry (underwriting, claims, risk modeling, or product management). Strong understanding of insurance operations, policy structures, and regulatory frameworks.
