Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Director of Data Analytics to join our Store Mechanization and Development team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for developing a framework of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of our initiatives. You'll work closely with our leadership team to define metrics, design and implement data pipelines and dashboards, and report progress towards our goals on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and analyze business issues within your domain, challenge assumptions, and develop recommendations to address these issues

  • Assess proposed business cases for initiatives and projects, translate business requirements into solutions, and align the team with the business strategy while executing plans
  • Develop and implement data-driven insights to inform business decisions, including creating and presenting reports, dashboards, and visualizations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions, including data warehousing, business intelligence, and data governance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing data-driven insights to inform business decisions
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering

  • 8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
  • Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, or data science concepts
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure

Skills and Competencies

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform business decisions

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
  • Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security concepts
  • Strong understanding of business operations, including finance, marketing, and supply chain management

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including:
