Responsibilities

As a Part-time Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services, and capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling a high volume of customer inquiries via online chat, responding promptly and professionally to customer queries
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information about products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing
  • Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments and ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of the ever-evolving products and services, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments
  • Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, ensuring accurate and timely data entry
  • Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights and feedback
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive success

Qualifications

To succeed as a Part-time Chat Specialist, you will need:

  • Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry, although not necessary, as we provide comprehensive training
  • The ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Basic internet and window-based computer skills, with a strong ability to multitask and adapt to change
  • A positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to adapt to a quick-paced work environment, with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Gaming experience is preferred, as it demonstrates strong multitasking and problem-solving skills

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be able to:

  • Attend 4 weeks of training, Tuesday-Saturday between the hours of 10:00am-6:30pm CST
  • Work 5-hour time blocks daily after completing training
  • Type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Possess gaming experience, which is preferred but not required
