Civil Project Engineer II/III - Renewable Energy Structural Design
Job Description
Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III - Structure & Bridge Design candidate for our Raleigh, NC office location or working remotely. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: Perform routine and complex design of steel piles and steel connections. Perform routine and complex design of cast-in-place concrete slabs. Understanding of general renewable energy nomenclature Assist with the development of scope, schedule and budgets for projects Assist with the management of projects and tasks Assist with marketing and proposal development Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, Master’s degree preferred 2+ years of solar structure design experience required PE License is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in structural design software packages, specifically LPile, Mathcad, Excel Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD for plan development Proficiency with Excel/AutoCAD interoperability to create pile plot plans is as plus Additional Information The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
