Account Representative - West Coast

Are you a results-driven Sales Representative with a track record of success? At Omega Bio-tek, we’re looking for a competitive Sales Representative who thrives on challenges and is passionate about exceeding goals. As a Sales Rep, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and expanding relationships with key accounts, and closing sales. Must reside in the West Coast or Northwest US region or be willing to relocate. We offer a competitive comp package at plan with a best-in-class accelerator over plan. What you will do: Develop, manage, and execute sales strategy, sales plans, to achieve quarterly and annual goals within the West Coast sales territory Maintain and continuously expand customer base with emphasis on major accounts Communicate feedback to management on trends in market Communicate major customer information, revenue target progress, and product forecasts with accuracy and on a regular basis Attend local and national tradeshows Create customer pricing strategies Deliver technical presentations on products to customers What you will need: 3+ years experience selling genomic products or services Experience or knowledge of workflows with DNA & RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, microarrays and NGS Must reside in the West Coast or Northwest US region. DNA and RNA extraction is the first step for so many downstream analyses, and efficient and clean nucleic isolation is crucial. Our goal is to offer high-quality products to help you improve your workflows. For the best option for all of your extraction needs, we offer multiple nucleic acid extraction chemistries including magnetic beads, silica membranes, and salting out. These three different methods are available in a wide range of different kits and configurations for a total of over 900 products. Omega Bio-tek’s headquarters are located in Norcross, Georgia, about 25 miles outside of downtown Atlanta. We own and operate a 38,000 ft2 facility. We offer products for manual and automated processing and we support our customers by having Hamilton Microlab® STAR™, Beckman Coulter Biomek® FX, and Thermo KingFisher® instruments in-house.
