- Lead and manage SQL Server environments (SQL Server 2019 through 2025), including planning, upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization.
- Design and execute database transfer/migration strategies across versions (2019 → 2025), ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Administer and support Oracle databases alongside SQL Server, including installation, configuration, patching, and backup/recovery.
- Perform hands-on database activities such as query tuning, indexing, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
- Oversee database security, compliance, and high availability solutions (e.g., clustering, replication, DR strategies).
- Manage and coordinate with external vendors and service providers, ensuring SLA adherence and successful delivery of database-related services.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database design, deployments, and application performance.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and operational support to DBA teams while driving continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
