Oracle DBA/Cloud/AWS/Applications New York City, NY or Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid) 12+ Months Web cam Interview CANDIDATES NEED TO HAVE HEAVY, RECENT AWS CLOUD EXPERIENCE. THIS IS A NEXT GENERATION CLOUD DBA. We need a senior Oracle DBA for Applications with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) experience as well as Cloud (AWS, etc) experience. Number of years working with:

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- This team is responsible for all of the website transactional data for every online order globally.
- Multi-tenant architecture, Cloud (AWS, Oracle, GCP, Azure, etc) and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) will be a must.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- The Oracle Database Administration team is responsible for maintaining Oracle databases across the enterprise.
- This entails ensuring data is protected and accessible in a 24/7 environment.
Day to Day
- Manage all facets of the Oracle database system lifecycle
- Identify and resolve database related issues, determining root cause
- Monitor for performance, capacity, and space management
- Coordinate patching cycles with application teams and business partners
- Participate on projects as a team member
- Enforce database security policies and change management procedures
- Automate repetitive tasks
Must Haves
- Bachelor of Science in an IT related field or equivalent business and technical experience
- Multi-Tenant Architecture
- At least 8 years of Oracle database administration experience
- Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
- Cloud (AWS, Oracle, etc)
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong desire for continuous learning
- Self-motivated
