Project Manager - Contract - Architectural Signage

Responsibilities

• Review project scope, drawings, and specifications to define deliverables and timelines.
• Develop and maintain project schedules covering design, production, permitting, and installation milestones.
• Identify long-lead materials or subcontracted components and initiate procurement early.
• Coordinate internal workload and resource allocation.
• Lead the full lifecycle of architectural signage projects, including planning, design coordination, procurement, installation, and closeout.
• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to develop detailed project scopes and schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of signage designs.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors by issuing contracts, reviewing bids, and overseeing quality control during installation phases.
• Proactively address issues related to construction estimating, scheduling delays or technical challenges.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes while maintaining meticulous documentation of all project activities.
• Oversee project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and progress reports.
• Practice excellent time management by prioritizing tasks efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising quality.

Experience

• Proven experience managing architectural signage or related construction projects within a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability in project scheduling, contract administration, blueprint reading, and schematic development.
• Hands-on construction site experience with a thorough understanding of construction estimating processes and site safety protocols.
• Familiarity with civil engineering principles as they relate to signage installation is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills for effective project coordination among diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of project delivery.
