We're a fast-growing startup scaling our team across the US and internationally. We need an experienced HR professional who can balance speed with rigor—finding exceptional talent while ensuring we stay compliant across multiple jurisdictions.

What You'll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for technical and non-technical roles across US and international markets
  • Build and optimize hiring processes that scale with our growth without sacrificing quality
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, visa requirements, and regulations across all hiring locations
  • Navigate international employment structures (EOR, contractors, local entities) and advise on best approaches
  • Develop compensation frameworks that are competitive, equitable, and compliant across regions
  • Create exceptional candidate experiences that reflect our company values
  • Build talent pipelines proactively for anticipated hiring needs
  • Own day-to-day HR operations — offer letters, onboarding/offboarding, employee records, and policy questions
  • Champion culture as we scale through onboarding, team rituals, engagement initiatives, and recognition programs
  • Support managers with performance conversations, feedback frameworks, and people challenges
  • Track key people metrics and surface insights that help leadership make better decisions

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5+ years in recruitment and HR, ideally in high-growth startup environments
  • Proven experience hiring internationally with solid understanding of global employment compliance
  • Knowledge of US employment law and international hiring practices
  • Track record of closing difficult-to-fill roles in competitive markets
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to build processes from scratch
  • Strong judgment on balancing speed, quality, and risk
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to represent our company to top-tier candidates
