About this role Remind is looking for a passionate and motivated Accountant contractor to join our dynamic and highly collaborative Finance and Operations team. In this role, you will report directly to the VP of Accounting, and you will have the unique opportunity to build processes, collaborate cross functionally, and play a key role in revenue recognition for Remind Tutoring. About you:

What you'll do:
- Daily review of transaction processing, including accounts receivable and cash receipts
- Communicate with customers about open balances
- Complete non-complex daily, weekly, and monthly account reconciliations to be reviewed by the Senior Accountant and Controller
- Develop cross-functional relationships and gain exposure to the finance, data, product, and operations functions
Compensation:
- This is a 40/hour per week contract role with a rate of $20-25 per hour.
