[Remote] Volunteer Director of Public Relations – Nonprofit

Sisters in Christ: Women of Purpose, Daughters of Promise is a mission-driven nonprofit seeking a Volunteer Director of Public Relations to enhance their public presence and community engagement. The role involves leading PR strategies, managing social media, and serving as the organization's public-facing voice.
Responsibilities
- Lead PR strategy, media outreach, and storytelling
- Manage social media and external communications
- Collaborate with our leadership team on campaigns and events
- Serve as the organization’s public-facing voice
Skills
- Experience in PR, communications, or marketing (nonprofit/startup a plus)
- Strong writing, editing, and social media skills
- Hands-on, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects
- Passion for our mission and ability to commit 5–10 hrs/week
