Tradeshow and Events Coordinator - Hillsboro, OR

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated and experienced Tradeshow/Events Coordinator for the test and measurement industry to join our team. Tradeshows and Industry events play a key role in our overall marketing mix, and this position will ensure the delivery of our brand promise through an exemplary beginning-to-end execution. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic vision, operational expertise and hands-on-execution to elevate our tradeshow and event marketing efforts. Your tasks

  • Logistics & Planning: Planning and organizing industry exhibitions and events, which include collaborating with various professionals to secure venues, booth space and hotel blocks.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop booth layout, demo setups, power requirements, AV setup and staffing plans. Managing event logistics, including securing demo equipment for the event.
  • On-Site and Off-Site execution: Organizing booth space, shipping equipment, and arranging on-site services for exhibitions and workshops. Coordination of demo equipment and freight
  • On-Site supervision of the booth build, receiving and unpacking the equipment, scheduling and organizing the subject matter experts for demo setups, as well as tear down at the end of an event.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinating with vendors, evaluating supplier proposals, and handling procurement for event materials.
  • Administration & Budgeting: Maintaining project timelines, tracking budgets, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.
  • 6+ years of experience in event and trade show management, preferably within the B2B sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events and trade shows from conception to completion.
  • Familiarity with venue rules, union labor and show services
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, attention to detail, calm under pressure and the ability to handle high energy environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a keen ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Creative thinker and problem solver with a strategic mindset, ability to frame up problems and opportunities to drive decision making.
  • Up to 60% of domestic travel will be required
  • Preferably located in Hillsboro Oregon but can be remote depending on qualifications
  • In order to be considered, candidates must reside in the US and have valid work authorization.

Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level. Individual pay within the range is determined by several factors including location, education or training, relevant work history, sales incentive structure and job-related skills.
