Job Description:
As a Data Scientist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for driving business insights and innovation across our real-time and new verticals services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Engineering, to identify, explore, and empower product advancements using strong statistical and machine learning techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive business insights and innovation through data-driven decision making, using strong statistical and machine learning techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, explore, and empower product advancements
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data visualizations to support business insights and decision making
- Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and drive business growth
- Work with stakeholders to develop and communicate data-driven recommendations and insights
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision making across the organization
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and engineering
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering
- At least 4 years of experience applying statistical and numerical techniques to drive business insights and decision making
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills, including experience with linear algebra, calculus, and probability
- Experience with programming languages, including Python, R, and SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in a quantitative field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering
- Experience with machine learning techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning
- Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop and Spark
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban
Skills and Competencies:
