Our Data Engineering team is part of the Disney Choice Science + Mix (DDSI) association, which supports clients across the organization, including Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, and Disney General Entertainment Content.
About the Role
As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in the development and support of data pipelines that drive business insights and decision-making. Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines that meet business requirements
- Developing and implementing data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools, such as Snowflake and PostgreSQL
- Designing and implementing data warehouses and data marts to support business analytics
- Developing and maintaining data quality and data governance processes
- Collaborating with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models
- Troubleshooting and resolving data pipeline issues and errors
- Developing and maintaining documentation and knowledge base for data pipelines and data governance processes

- SQL (primarily Snowflake and PostgreSQL)

What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Demonstrated expertise in using Python and SQL (ideally with Snowflake)
- Experience working in a multi-cloud environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOPS strategies for code organization and development
- Experience creating and maintaining automated job schedulers
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality processes
What Will Set You Apart
If you have experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar, you'll be at an advantage. Additionally, experience with cloud design and product contributions, such as AWS, and experience using Docker will be highly valued.
