Ecommerce Solution Architect in Durham, NC or Remote Must Have Technical/Functional Skills We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect with strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Commerce platforms to lead architecture design, integration strategy, and large-scale digital transformation initiatives. Roles & Responsibilities Define end-to-end enterprise architecture for digital platforms using AEM (Sites, Assets, Cloud Service) and Commerce solutions (Adobe Commerce / Magento / Commercetools / BigCommerce).
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures integrating CMS, Commerce, CRM, CDP, and third-party systems.
- Lead solution blueprinting, technical governance, and architecture reviews.
- Define integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, Microservices, Event-driven architecture).
- Drive cloud-native architecture (AWS / Azure) and DevOps strategy.
- Ensure best practices in performance, security, and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership to architects and development teams.
- Support pre-sales, estimations, and proposal responses.
Adobe certifications (AEM Architect / Developer).
- Experience in large global enterprise programs.
- Knowledge of CDP, Analytics, and Personalization tools
Generic Managerial Skills, If any Strong hands-on experience in AEM (6.5 / AEM Cloud Service).
- Experience with Commerce platforms (Adobe Commerce/Magento/Commercetools/BigCommerce).
- Expertise in microservices architecture and API-first design.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, React/SPA integrations.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Cloud Manager, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of DAM, personalization, and headless architecture.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
