Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Director of Account Development and Client Management to lead a team of 5 Senior Client Managers in Southern California. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for growing arenaflex revenue by establishing profitable and long-lasting relationships with merchant accounts. Your team will be accountable for delivering valuable insights and solutions to our clients across a diverse range of companies.

Key Responsibilities

As a Director of Account Development and Client Management, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of 5 Senior Client Managers to manage, deepen, and improve relationships with 400+ respected brands
  • Developing, leading, and motivating a top-performing team to retain and drive incremental business (B2B and B2C) by growing revenue and improving share
  • Cultivating a culture of learning, strong challenger coaching skills, and consultative relationship management
  • Leading your team in maintaining and strengthening arenaflex's business by showcasing value, growing revenue, improving share, and increasing profitability
  • Embracing the fast-changing payments landscape and keeping current with payment trends and economic/competitive indicators
  • Partnering with internal colleagues to seek out and develop partnership and marketing assets that will be relevant to your customer base
  • Modeling key sales behaviors/skills and balancing deal and skill coaching
  • Increasing Merchant Satisfaction and maximizing profits with an enterprise approach

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 10+ years of experience in client management, account development, or a related field
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving revenue growth
  • Strong understanding of the payments industry and current trends
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of arenaflex's products and services
  • Certification in sales, marketing, or a related field
