Title: Senior Data Engineer (AI + Modern Stack) Location: Remote Type: Contract / Full-time Rockwoods is specifically looking for candidates with 6–10+ years of hands-on experience building production-grade data pipelines. Profiles with only academic or tool-based exposure will not be considered. Role Overview Rockwoods is looking for a strong Data Engineer who has built reliable, production-grade data pipelines and has exposure to AI-driven data use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and scale
data pipelines and workflows in production
- Develop
dbt-based transformation layers
- Optimize
Snowflake performance and cost
- Implement
API and event-driven ingestion pipelines
- Ensure
data quality, validation, and reliability
- Support
AI/ML data workflows and integrations What We’re Looking For
- 6–10+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
- Strong experience with
Python, dbt, Snowflake
- Proven track record building
production-grade pipelines
- Experience with
Airflow or similar orchestration tools
- Solid understanding of
data modeling and transformation
- Experience working with
large-scale data systems
- Exposure to
