Registered Dietitian (Full Time, Remote) - Private Practice Setting

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized medical nutrition therapy to support patient-specific health goals
  • Perform comprehensive nutrition care processes including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation
  • Educate patients and families on nutrition, meal planning, and behavior change strategies
  • Create educational tools and resources to enhance patient engagement and understanding
  • Maintain professional credentials and complete required continuing education
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care

Minimum Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health, or related field
  • Completion of an ACEND-accredited dietetic internship
  • Active registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Experience in outpatient care preferred, though strong new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Background in eating disorders is a plus, but not required

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong understanding of nutrition planning and ability to translate recommendations into practical, food-based strategies
  • Experience providing both individual and group nutrition counseling
  • Ability to support patients with complex conditions, including chronic illness and co-morbidities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using EMR systems and standard computer tools
  • Spanish-speaking is a plus

Schedule & Work Setup

  • Full-time, fully remote role
  • Monday–Friday schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM (Arizona Time)

Compensation

  • $58,000–$60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
