OHIO RELOCATION: Mechanical Project Manager - Construction (MEP)
Mechanical Construction Project Manager Relocation to Columbus, Cincinnati or Dayton (relocation assistance provided ) Our client, a well-established employee-owned (ESOP) mechanical contractor , is expanding their Columbus operations and is seeking a Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead multifamily and commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is a long-term opportunity with a company known for strong leadership, consistent backlog, and a culture that truly rewards performance and ownership. What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage mechanical construction projects from kickoff through final turnover
- Oversee schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and material procurement
- Coordinate closely with field leadership, owners, architects, and engineers
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
- Ensure safety, quality, and contract compliance on all assigned projects
- Support change management, cost forecasting, and project reporting
Projects
- Multifamily (ground-up and large-scale renovations)
- Commercial projects (office, mixed-use, healthcare, light industrial, etc.)
What They’re Looking For
- Experience as a
Mechanical Construction Project Manager
- Background in HVAC, piping, plumbing, or full mechanical scopes
- Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and contracts
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive projects forward
- Open to relocating to Columbus, OH
