As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to our members, ensuring they receive the care and support they need to navigate their health needs. This is a remote opportunity, Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM EST, offering a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will:

  • Engage with members to understand their health needs, concerns, and goals
  • Review member claim history for accuracy and completeness
  • Explain member rights and responsibilities, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their benefits and claims
  • Build trusting relationships with members, providing empathetic and supportive care
  • Perform financial data maintenance, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member issues and concerns
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center atmosphere
  • Previous behavioral health experience is a plus, but not required
  • Medical or insurance background is also a plus, but not required
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in computer software and technology, including CRM systems

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience working in a behavioral health setting

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance concepts
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
