Virtual Medical Scribe

Duties

• Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient-provider interactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Document patient histories, physical examinations, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Assist healthcare providers by capturing vital signs, symptoms, and other relevant medical information efficiently.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Review and verify medical documentation for clarity, consistency, and correctness before final submission.
• Support the provider with real-time note updates during telehealth or in-person consultations.
• Manage multiple documentation tasks simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience with transcription services within a medical setting or related field is a MUST. [Candidates without meeting this criteria Don't apply, it will be auto-rejected].
• Must carry a Physician degree or equivalent.
• Familiarity with EMR and EHR systems used for electronic medical records management.
• Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical information.
• Prior experience working in a medical office or emergency room environment is highly desirable.
• Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and speed to keep pace with live clinical interactions.
• Ability to understand and document complex medical records clearly and professionally.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, confidentiality, and adherence to healthcare regulations.
