Actuarial Analyst - Mid / Sr.
Our client, a growing firm supporting the Life and Annuity Insurance sector is growing their Actuarial team. You will join a team responsible for shaping and innovating pricing solutions across the Life and Annuity sectors. This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in the development of actuarial products that address new and emerging insurance risks, influence market‐leading pricing strategies, and support customers in managing increasingly complex exposures. The team blends actuarial expertise with business partnership and customer focus to deliver solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work on projects independently or in collaboration with other areas to develop enhancements and innovations to actuarial products and procedures
- Work with clients on implementations and on-going support
- Collaborate closely with other team on new products that are actuarial or underwriting focused
- Maintain a high level of customer engagement through product presentations and responses to customer inquiries
- Guide and provide actuarial analyses in supporting, maintaining and enhancing existing actuarial products
Qualifications
- 3+ years of L&A actuarial experience required
- At least 4 exams passed with an ASA completion strongly preferred
- Ability to lead initiatives, work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelors required, Masters degree preferred
- Strong computing skills desired, such as SQL, Python, or R.
