Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our Payroll team on a remote basis. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional support to our staff. Key Responsibilities

* Input employee data into the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and completeness

  • Process payroll transactions, including time and attendance, deductions, and taxes
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and files
  • Prepare and distribute paychecks and other payroll-related documents
  • Assist with the resolution of payroll-related inquiries and issues
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to ensure smooth operations and compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of payroll processes and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy

Essential Qualifications

* Minimum 1 to 10 years of experience in data entry or a related field

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

* Knowledge of payroll processes and regulations

  • Experience with payroll software and systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Certification in payroll operations or a related field (e.g., CPP, FPC)
