Controller (Remote, Consultant) for Non-profit Org. Are you a senior accounting leader with non-profit experience looking for a remote consulting engagement? In this consulting position (remote) for this dynamic community service organization, you will play the vital role of assisting with year-end close, audit statement prep, SEFA, 990 processes and more. Location: Columbus, OH (This Consulting Position can be Worked Remote) Type: Consulting / Contract Start: June 2026 Position Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end accounting and GL setup
- Ensure year-end close and month-end close are prepared in an accurate and timely manner.
- Inventory and cost management
- Assist with statement preparation information for audits.
- Assist with SEFA preparation.
- Provide information for 990 Forms.
- Bank and Credit Card administration
Position Qualifications:
- Demonstrated successful experience with non-profit organization accounting.
- Solid experience with non-profit year-end and month-end close.
- Statement preparation for audits.
- Strong SEFA and 990 knowledge.
- Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus, or similar ERP experience
