Job Description

As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and supporting the overall operations of our store. Your primary duties will include: ### Key Responsibilities

  • Providing exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assisting customers in locating merchandise, unloading groceries, and transporting purchases to their vehicles
  • Maintaining a clean and safe store environment by gathering baskets, picking up trash, and restocking shelves
  • Stocking and staging bags, distributing Buddy bucks to registers, and replacing anti-fatigue mats
  • Performing red basket fill-up/retrieval, cleaning, mopping, dusting, sweeping, and vacuuming check stand areas, Return Centers, and CCO areas
  • Assisting with stocking, staging, and maintaining store displays and merchandise

### Essential Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service and quality
  • Ability to work with customers, stay attentive to their needs, and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency standards
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs and manage more than 55 lbs (up to 100 lbs) with proper lifting techniques and assistance when needed
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, grasp, and perform fine motor movements for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, including cold, hot, loud, and wet conditions

### Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience in a retail environment
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures
