About the Role: Autism Care Navigator As an Autism Care Navigator at arenaflex, you'll serve as the dedicated single point of contact for families with children who are receiving services through our Autism Case Management program. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that every family receives seamless, compassionate support as they access diagnostic services, ABA therapy, and other critical care pathways. This role requires a unique blend of clinical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and organizational prowess—along with an unwavering commitment to improving member experiences. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to build genuine relationships with families during what can often be a stressful and overwhelming time. You'll be the friendly voice on the phone, the knowledgeable resource who can explain benefits, and the diligent advocate who ensures no family falls through the cracks. Your work will directly impact the health outcomes and quality of life for children with autism and their families across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Key Responsibilities

As an integral member of our Autism Care team, you will be responsible for: Member and Provider Support: Respond to inbound inquiries from families and healthcare providers regarding autism spectrum disorder, ABA therapy benefits, mental health and substance use disorder services, community resources, care management programs, and organizational policies and procedures. Your expertise will help demystify complex healthcare processes for families seeking answers. Proactive Family Outreach: Conduct outbound calls to member families to introduce them to the Autism Case Management program, educate them about available resources, screen for care management needs or referral opportunities, and support the collection of essential program documentation. You'll be the bridge that connects families to the services they need. Provider Network Collaboration: Work closely with our network of providers to identify appropriate referrals for diagnostic evaluations, ABA therapy, and specialty care services. Your collaborative efforts will help ensure families receive timely access to qualified professionals. Authorization Support: Provide follow-up communications to ensure families and providers have all information required for authorization processes, reducing delays in care delivery. Care Coordination: Partner with lead Autism care managers to address identified member and family needs, including participation in rounds and team meetings. You'll contribute to coordinated care planning that addresses the holistic needs of each family. Quality Service Delivery: Promote excellence in service delivery and effective care transition planning to achieve optimal health outcomes for members. Your efforts will help reduce the burden that families face when managing a long-term disability. Network Operations Partnership: Collaborate with Network Operations staff to facilitate access to appropriate providers within members' geographic areas, ensuring geographic accessibility doesn't become a barrier to care.
