Experienced Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher – HVAC and Plumbing Industry

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our dispatch team, you'll play a vital role in handling inbound phone calls for scheduling service and maintenance for our Residential Department. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will make you an asset to our team.

Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling inbound phone calls for scheduling service and maintenance for our Residential Department
  • Maintaining our customer database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Making daily outbound phone calls to customers and technicians
  • Routing technicians based on location to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Maintaining a positive team atmosphere with all members of the dispatch team
  • Collaborating with the dispatch team to resolve customer issues and concerns

Schedule:

* Wednesday: In-office work at our Chantilly location from 8 AM to 5 PM (with a one-hour lunch break)

  • Monday to Friday: Remote work from home from 8 AM to 5 PM (with a one-hour lunch break) (not on Wednesday)

Qualifications:

* Previous call center experience (at least 1 year)

  • Ability to type at least 70 words per minute
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle high call volumes and work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Familiarity with main cities and locations in Northern Virginia
  • Ability to accurately document information into our customer database (Service Titan)

  • A laptop and cell phone will be provided by arenaflex
