Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer We are looking for a hands-on DevOps engineer to help design and operate a cloud-native data platform on AWS. This role focuses on building reliable deployment systems, automating infrastructure, and improving how data pipelines are developed, tested, and released. You will work closely with engineering and data teams to improve how systems are built and operated — with an emphasis on reliability, repeatability, and reducing manual processes. This role is best suited for someone who has built and operated production systems, not just configured tools. Support event-driven and workflow-based systems (e.g., orchestration, retries, failure handling) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain data pipelines that are testable, observable, and easy to maintain. What We’re Looking For (Must-Have) 5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Data Infrastructure 5+ years of experience using Infrastructure as Code in real environments (not just tutorials) Proven hands-on experience building or improving CI/CD pipelines Strong understanding of environment management (dev/test/prod separation, promotion workflows) 3+ years of experience with data transformation workflows or dbt Strong experience working with distributed systems (e.g., microservices, workflows, or data pipelines) Proficient in programming/scripting language (Python preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience What Will Set You Apart (Nice-to-Have) Experience with data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift or similar) Experience with workflow orchestration (e.g., Step Functions, Airflow, or equivalent) Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration Familiarity with observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Prometheus, etc.) Experience implementing enterprise-grade governance, including advanced RBAC hierarchies, network policies, SCIM/SSO integrations We are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity. All individuals, regardless of personal characteristics, are encouraged to apply. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, pregnancy, religion, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable state or local law.
