Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused REMOTE Customer Service Representative to join our team for an 8-week contract. As a key member of our National Campaigns Unit, you will play a vital role in providing shareholder communications for public companies, working closely with internal clients such as Computershare and Georgeson. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with shareholders, addressing their concerns and providing accurate information to ensure they make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Respond to inbound, outbound, and email communications from shareholders, providing accurate and timely information

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of shareholder communications, including contested proxy meetings and shareholder voting processes
  • Collaborate with internal clients to ensure seamless communication and effective execution of campaigns
  • Utilize strong communication skills to build trust and rapport with shareholders, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in shareholder communications
  • Work closely with the National Campaigns Unit team to achieve campaign goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • At least 6 months of experience in customer service, data entry, or a related field
  • Excellent speaking voice and strong communication skills
  • Ability to read and correct grammar and English speaking
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software and systems quickly

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in a call center or remote work environment

  • Familiarity with shareholder communications and contested proxy meetings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in multiple software applications, including CRM systems and data entry tools

Equipment Requirements

* MacBook (current operating system) or Windows (10 or 11)

  • Headsets (USB, not wireless)
  • Dual monitors (benefited but not required)
  • Internet Speed: 50 download/ 10 upload
