Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced full stack cloud engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our data science and cloud infrastructure. As a full stack cloud engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data systems, as well as providing technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers. You will work closely with our data science team to develop and deploy machine learning models, and collaborate with our cloud engineering team to design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement large-scale data systems, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines
- Develop and deploy machine learning models using popular frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Collaborate with our cloud engineering team to design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure, including cloud storage, cloud computing, and cloud networking
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers, including mentoring and code reviews
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including data corruption, data loss, and system downtime
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of our data systems and cloud infrastructure
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and cloud infrastructure, and apply this knowledge to improve our systems and processes
Essential Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in data science and cloud infrastructure development
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, and C++
- Experience with popular data science frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure
- Strong understanding of data storage and retrieval systems, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, and data warehouses
- Experience with data streaming and messaging systems, including Apache Kafka and Apache PubSub
- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance, including data encryption, access control, and auditing
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud-based data storage and retrieval systems, including Google Cloud Storage and Amazon S3
- Experience with data processing and analytics tools such as Apache Spark and Apache Flink
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- Experience with cloud-based machine learning platforms, including Google Cloud AI Platform and Amazon SageMaker
