Job Summary

As a Part-Time Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing phone support to patients receiving specialty medication through our mail order pharmacy. You'll be the primary point of contact for patients, answering questions, resolving issues, and ensuring that their medication needs are met. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide phone support to patients receiving specialty medication, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Coordinate and handle new and reorder requests, including verifying and updating patient information
  • Assist patients in deciphering and entering new or reordered medications into our pharmacy data system
  • Collect and process copay payments, obtain approvals, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve and process orders with sales or clinical issues
  • Collaborate with patients, insurance companies, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of specialty medications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies

Essential Qualifications

* One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone

  • One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications
  • One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and fitness

Preferred Qualifications

* Six months of experience resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone

  • Medical experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology

Training and Development

* High school diploma or equivalent required
