As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in providing analytics support to our global analytics products, working closely with client groups to identify enhancements in performance and controllership for their modern data processes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

• Performing hands-on data analysis and evaluation of large financial data sets, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving data quality issues
• Defining business requirements for technical development based on the evaluation of data sets
• Working with client groups to identify enhancements in performance and controllership for their modern data processes, training them on the designed reporting and capabilities of their processes
• Building and maintaining relationships with key production providers, as well as other technical groups across arenaflex
• Ability to explain financial/technical ideas and evaluation implications to a wide audience, and translating business goals into actionable analyses

About the Team

We're a quickly growing team assisting Corporate Tax functions, and we're looking for applicants who are keen and capable of learning new content quickly, who are willing to enter uncharted territory, and who own ironclad judgment and integrity around sensitive information.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

* 3+ years of tax, finance, or related analytical field experience

• 2+ years of writing SQL queries and developing business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience with Excel
• Experience with SQL
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* MBA

• Experience working with big data and data visualization tools
• Strong understanding of tax and accounting principles
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
