We are looking for an SEO Specialist to join our dynamic Web & Search Team. This role will be responsible for executing and improving SEO strategies across client websites, with a strong focus on technical SEO, on-page optimization, content optimization, local SEO, and website performance. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing SEO across multiple websites and content management systems, including WordPress, and is comfortable working cross-functionally with web developers, content teams, account teams, and strategy leaders. This person should be analytical, detail-oriented, and able to turn SEO insights into clear recommendations that improve organic visibility, traffic, and conversions.

Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Execution Develop, implement, and optimize SEO strategies across client websites to improve organic rankings, visibility, traffic, and lead generation. Conduct keyword research using tools such as SEMrush, Google Trends, Google Keyword Planner, and Google Search Console. Perform on-page SEO optimization, including metadata, headers, URL structure, internal linking, image alt text, schema markup, and content structure. Identify technical SEO issues and work with web development teams to resolve crawlability, indexability, page speed, mobile usability, redirects, broken links, duplicate content, and site architecture concerns. Execute local SEO strategies, including optimizing and maintaining Google Business Profiles, location pages, citations, and local keyword targeting. Support link-building and off-page SEO initiatives to improve domain authority and organic performance. Content & CMS Management Upload, format, and optimize website content, blogs, landing pages, and service pages for SEO performance. Manage SEO implementation within multiple CMS platforms, including but not limited to: WordPress Duda Wix Shopify Use SEO plugins and tools such as RankMath, Yoast SEO, All in One SEO, and related CMS-based optimization tools. Analytics, Reporting & Performance Optimization Monitor SEO performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, BrightLocal, Microsoft Clarity, and other reporting tools. Analyze organic traffic, rankings, click-through rates, conversions, technical health, and local SEO performance. Provide clear recommendations based on data trends, competitive research, and search performance. Cross-functional Collaboration Work closely with web developers, content creators, designers, account managers, and strategy leaders to execute client SEO initiatives. Communicate SEO priorities, findings, and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders. Help maintain SEO best practices across website builds, redesigns, content updates, and ongoing client campaigns. Stay current on SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, AI-driven search changes, local SEO best practices, and technical SEO standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency environment. Strong experience working in WordPress is required. Exposure to SEO tools like SEMRush, and RankMath. Strong understanding of on-page SEO, technical SEO, local SEO, keyword research, content optimization, and link-building best practices. Ability to identify and communicate technical SEO issues related to site speed, mobile usability, indexing, crawlability, redirects, broken links, metadata, schema, and site architecture. Experience optimizing blogs, landing pages, service pages, and location-based website content. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret SEO performance data and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple clients, websites, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
