Brand Marketing Manager (Body Cleansing/UAP)

Location: Hybrid 3 days/week at Colgate NYC HQ About The Role We are seeking a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to support a portfolio of leading personal care brands during a temporary leave coverage period. This role will lead commercialization, innovation, portfolio planning, and cross-functional execution across body wash, deodorant, and bar soap brands. The ideal candidate combines strong brand management fundamentals with experience driving innovation, retail commercialization, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) growth initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Lead evaluation and commercialization planning for new product and bundle opportunities across multiple brands.
  • Develop innovation pipelines, seasonal concepts, and limited-time offerings from concept through execution.
  • Partner with innovation, retail marketing, sales, insights, and cross-functional teams to assess feasibility, build business cases, and drive launch readiness.
  • Support club and retail-specific product solutions, packaging configurations, and assortment opportunities.
  • Develop commercial plans and selling stories to support line reviews and distribution growth.
  • Conduct category, consumer, competitive, and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic recommendations.
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while driving alignment across stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of brand management, brand marketing, innovation, or commercialization experience within CPG.
  • Experience working with retailers, club channels, and commercialization teams.
  • Experience leading product launches, innovation initiatives, or portfolio planning efforts.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience building business cases, evaluating P&Ls, and assessing commercial opportunities.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners and drive projects from concept to execution.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with personal care, beauty, household products, or adjacent consumer categories preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
