Open Role Frontend Developer / Senior Frontend Developer We are seeking an experienced Front-end Developer to join our team. We are looking for a developer who shares our values of innovation, service, excellence, collaboration, and empowerment. As a small but fast-growing Shopify Plus agency with offices in Birmingham, UK and Dubai, we thrive on creating a dynamic and supportive environment. We’re looking for a proficient, detail-focused developer who enjoys working in a team, solving problems, and mentoring others. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company where you can hone your skills while doing meaningful work for a handful of innovative brands. This role is open to both fully-remote or hybrid candidates who wish to work from our Birmingham office. What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop high-performance, scalable eCommerce websites for a range of Shopify clients.
- Translate beautiful designs into responsive, accessible front-end experiences using modern JavaScript, Liquid, and SCSS/CSS3.
- Collaborate with designers, QA, and client services to deliver features that enhance the customer experience.
- Optimise websites for performance, accessibility, SEO, and maintainability.
- Maintain and improve existing Shopify storefronts with a focus on usability and performance.
- Collaborate with the team to ideate technical solutions for new and existing clients.
- Build custom Checkout Extensions to enhance and personalise the Shopify checkout experience using the latest extensibility tools.
- Stay ahead of the curve on Shopify and front-end development trends.
We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience
- Proficiency in Modern JavaScript, Liquid, and SCSS/CSS3
- Proven experience as a Front-end Developer or in a similar role.
- Git/version control experience.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Experience with Shopify.
Desirable
- Previous experience in an agency or in-house development role.
- A degree in computer science or a related field.
